The mood is gloriously over-the-top rather than subtle, pairing supernatural enemies and absurdly powerful bosses with an intensity that rarely lets up. Combat demands constant movement, clean timing, and an understanding of when to attack, block, evade, counter, or unleash a Ninpo spell to clear space.
