A cursed yoyo turns a hostile city into an acrobatic playground in this colorful top-down adventure. Pippit, an overconfident yoyo specialist and black sheep of the powerful Pipistrello family, gets dragged into a corporate turf war after rivals attack his aunt’s electricity empire. The story balances cartoon crime-boss antics with a genuinely character-driven family conflict, keeping the mood playful even as Pippit fights to restore the city’s power structure. Its “Yoyovania” identity is a fitting shorthand: a Metroidvania-style urban quest built around one remarkably flexible tool.

Pippit travels across four distinct districts, searching dense streets, businesses, industrial spaces, and themed neighborhoods for routes, secrets, upgrades, and enemy-controlled strongholds. His yoyo handles both combat and movement, letting him strike opponents, interact with mechanisms, ricochet through spaces, and chain learned tricks into increasingly elaborate parkour lines. New abilities continually change how familiar scenery reads, so a gap, wall, or dangling point that seems useless early on can later become part of a shortcut or alternate path. Boss lairs mix action puzzles with fights, while more than 40 equipable Badges and a range of passive upgrades allow players to emphasize survivability, mobility, combat strength, or more specialized yoyo techniques. Optional life boosts, treasures, and other collectibles reward careful map reading rather than simple linear progress.
