A fragile peace is collapsing across the planet of Web, where missing leaders, expanding Elven forces, and a secretive faction called the Helix all point toward another war. Carter begins as an ordinary Human villager, but his search for answers pulls him into a conspiracy surrounding the Perfect Homunculus, a weapon capable of changing the balance of power forever. The mood mixes fantasy adventure with political tension, ancient magical experiments, and the threat of machines built for destruction.
