Gunfights reward patience more than run-and-gun reflexes. Weapons kick hard, bullets have weight and travel time, armor and supplies matter, and even a lowly bandit can end a careless run when your rifle jams or your medkits run dry. Players travel between broad connected areas, take jobs from traders, hunt valuable artifacts in hazardous fields, choose how to deal with rival groups, and search for equipment that makes deeper trips possible. Food, bleeding, radiation, encumbrance, weather, and the day-night cycle keep pressure on every outing, while stealth offers a useful alternative when ammunition is scarce. The campaign has a directed central mystery, but side routes, optional stashes, faction encounters, and multiple endings encourage detours.
