Skigill is a bullet-hell roguelike built around enduring 15 brutal minutes of enemy swarms while carving out a build from whatever the battlefield offers. Its mood is strange, aggressive, and deliberately opaque: rather than explaining every system, it expects players to learn through failed runs, fortunate discoveries, and improvised combinations. The central sigil is more than scenery, acting as both the map and the game’s defining strategic puzzle.
Each run begins with one of three heroes and their distinctly different approaches to staying alive. The Strongman thrives in close quarters and can turn defeated foes into explosive ammunition, the Sorcerer chains lightning through clustered targets, and the Fox uses a hookshot that retrieves resources while providing healing.
