Suzerain turns the pressure of governing into a dense, choice-driven political RPG where a friendly cabinet meeting can matter as much as a crisis at the border. Sordland feels convincingly lived-in, shaped by civil war, entrenched elites, restless reformers, regional powers, and ordinary citizens who expect their new president to deliver. Its writing treats ideology as messy rather than heroic, making corruption, authoritarianism, reform, nationalism, and capitalism feel like practical pressures instead of simple morality labels. Multiple political routes, branching endings, and radically different approaches to domestic and foreign policy give repeat playthroughs real value.
