The Deadseat turns a familiar childhood refuge—a handheld game—into the only barrier between you and something unnatural pressing in from the dark outside the windows. Its horror is intimate rather than sprawling: there is no house to search, no town to flee, and no safe room beyond the cramped space behind your parents’ seats. The result is a tense indie horror experience that pairs family anxiety with the dread of being trapped somewhere you cannot escape.

Play alternates between managing the retro-style game screen and reacting to threats in the car itself.
