Gameloft’s version stands out by treating the famous premise as more than a nostalgia joke: it adds a broader campaign structure, a journal full of historical context, animal collecting, and over 80 fish species to catch. The art direction is bright and inviting, yet the underlying systems reward careful preparation and accepting that not everyone may reach the destination.
