Timothy and the Tower of Mu frames that simple goal with a dark fairy-tale mood: every screen is dangerous, every leap demands attention, and death is an expected part of learning. The tower rises through distinct hostile regions filled with traps, monsters, and increasingly cruel environmental hazards. It is less a relaxed adventure than a stubborn test of timing, nerve, and persistence.

Timothy begins with a deliberately small toolkit—jumping, dashing, and a slingshot—but the challenge comes from using those abilities with near-perfect control.
