Beaches and lively settlements give the journey color before it descends into haunted ruins or reaches more surreal divine realms, and the soundtrack blends Greek-inspired instrumentation with orchestral grandeur. Fans of Diablo-style loot progression who want a more deliberate, myth-heavy adventure should find plenty to like, especially if the original Titan Quest’s flexible class system appealed to them. Newcomers can enjoy its readable fantasy premise, but veterans of action RPGs are likely to get the most from experimenting with mastery combinations and pushing tougher ritual-driven encounters.
