Hotel Empyreum turns ordinary housekeeping into a frantic cartoon disaster zone where beds need making, rooms need cleaning, and supernatural guests refuse to behave. Welcome to Empyreum is a local co-op party game for up to four players, built around the kind of loud communication, panicked multitasking, and accidental sabotage that makes couch multiplayer memorable. Its premise has a playful edge: four troubled guests—an influencer, a mother, a lucky young woman, and a musician—lose the things they value most and must work their way up the hotel to reclaim them. The mood stays colourful and family-friendly even when the hotel fills with ghosts, alien infants, carnivorous plants, and demanding fantasy visitors.

Each floor presents a set of cleaning and service jobs that the team must complete before the chaos gets out of hand. Players divide duties, move around busy rooms, manage guests’ unusual needs, and decide whether to work efficiently or rescue a teammate whose task has spiralled into a mess. One moment you are vacuuming and changing sheets; the next you are feeding jelly to gummy bears, escaping spectres, or fumigating a living plant. Progress comes from clearing floors and advancing toward the director Beatriz’s office, while the escalating workload rewards players who can communicate clearly and adapt when plans collapse.

Rather than treating hotel management as a quiet simulation, the game frames it as an accessible co-op challenge with the manic energy of Overcooked-style teamwork.
