Fanshu village becomes a haunting maze of memory, superstition, and family grief as young Xi-Sheng searches for his missing brother, Mu-Sheng. Set in an imagined version of 1940s Taiwan during Japanese rule, 夕生 Halflight blends third-person adventure and psychological horror rather than relying on constant action. Daylight gives way to an unsettling dusk where familiar streets feel hostile, and the boundary between the real village and Xi-Sheng’s inner world begins to break down.
