The tone balances Saturday-morning-anime energy, sarcastic banter, and satisfying cartoon violence, backed by comic-panel storytelling and a punchy soundtrack from Megan McDuffee. It is a sequel that understands the appeal of the original: beating up gangs should feel fast, funny, and just a little ridiculous.

Anime cinematics, English and Japanese voice performances, silly NPC encounters, and guest appearances make every district feel like part of a living beat-'em-up universe.
